when I say it does and where I want it to!

May thru Oct
Kankakee state park
Busse woods
Batavia @ the dam

Haven't set the dates yet, want to make 1 more scouting trip to Kankakee before I decide on a point series event there (its no worse than the pile at leisure but want to make sure its comp ready). The BoD will get together next month (emails back and forth or a meeting someplace) to decide on the dates and location.

LH track fees is what got me into crawling stuff. I got tired of 18$+18$+18$ for me and 2 kids to race one a week. Gets too late into the night as well and the kid wants to go to sleep or go home.

I asked Bernie once about a family discount, but never heard back. Sad as I have run on his tracks on and off for 25+ years

Better get started.... IM not going to bother. Bernie is nice enough but, Scott calls the shots and he is all about how much money he can make.

Yeah I know Jeff, just thought about it? I'll try and work at them but they need to work with the club or it won't happen!

I do... Usually I can find us deals for the end of the season prizes. With how we are doing things this year (giveaway at each comp) its going to be a little more involved. Just figuring out a $20-$30 prize for each comp is going to keep the board busy... Luckily I think I already have a few things (Sticker sheet, light kit, wingtote bag) Still got 3-4 more to figure out and buy.

prizes are paid for by the comp entry fee's so that's usually not a big deal. But we always accept donations.

I don't see them giving up table space due to the larger crowds they see for the larger events. The 1/18th track inside got removed due to low turnout.

I know for sure that won`t happen . Electric racing has boomed this year and barely enough room on Wed. night racing . No body at the back section where 1/18 track was but can see that getting filled up at the Presidential race this weekend .

I guess I'll just have to start on my basement course and tell the wife I'm having a "couple" people over....

Really wish I roughed in a 5th bathroom in the basement now....:?

It`s not to late for a bathroom . They make a pump to pump it to your drain line .
