depends on the coarse but 10-15 mins. We were also discussing leaving the clock run during repairs. |

I voted 12 because I do like the 20 gate course but do not want to drag it out to long.

you easily had 30 minutes in repairs today saydee.. we let other people run and then you get back on the course. I think the clock should run during repairs too.. that or put a time limit on repairs. If you repair for longer than 3minutes you take a DNF.

with the upcoming C1 craze.. I dont know if we should decide on the time limit per course quite yet. If were all going to be carrying around 3 trucks with us.. were going to need to shorten these things up so we can run them all. I'm thinking 10 gate course would speed things up quite a bit. and how can we decide on a time limit for a 10 gate course right now? I'll put my vote in for a 20gate course. |

| Re: Time Out I say 10 minutes is fair. As far as the repair; I think as maybe instead of timing the repair, rather for ever X minutes (maybe 3 is good) you get another repair penalty.

Off-course repairs: (touch +10pts) A driver can call time to make an off-course repair. Repairs should be completed within 30 minutes, or the driver is given a DNF minus progress points. If the repair is made in the allotted time, the driver must return to the last previous gate cleared. A 1 minute time penalty will be subtracted from the time that is left on that course, the timer will continue once the vehicle makes forward progress.

30 minutes!? jeeeze. That doesn't make sense at all with our 10-15 minute course limits. I like what zero said better. a one minute time penalty means nothing to us. id rather have to take repair points every 3 minutes. but, i guess the rules is the rule. we could run 3 trucks during someones 30min repair. |

We cant decide on a time limit because it depends on the course. The 20 gate rock course today took almost everyone all of 15min. But at roselle 20 gates takes no longer than 10min, i dont know about foster because we havnt run there enough. I vote 15 because it is needed for bussee, but will be overkill for roselle. |
