Outside Bloomington in Stanford
 

Got a huge course set up now in Stanford Il. 13 miles west of Bloomington. We run XR10, AX10, Venom Creeper, Losi nightcrawler, Losi mini's and 3 of us have supers and i'm working on a scaler right now. Man this 100 degree weather sucks but as soon as it cools down a little i'll be ready to do some crawlin, Arecee, MiniMorris (i know ya live in bloomington) and anyone else interested is more than welcome to come and crawl with us. Just pm me if anyone wants to crawl (Always ready to crawl), i'll also post on this thread any dates in advance when were gonna crawl. Feast your eyes on these pics of the course.

setup a comp date, as long as it doesnt interfere with an SCRC event (or boating) Ill make the cruise down. Always like beating up on Dave... "thumbsup"

when is the next SCRC event so as not to set a day on that event, ready in the next couple weeks if not to hot out.

Hey everyone, which is better Saturday's or Sundays. maybe lookin around Aug. 11th or the 12th. If do the 11th on a Sat. we could light up all the tiki torches and do some night crawlin, also bring yr own beer if ya want. We can do an all afternoon and night and fire up the grill and do some brats too. let me know guys.

Added another route to the top of the garage, now you can go up one side and down the other.

My classic boat is still not working so, I just might make it down.

that would be cool jetboat, really wanting to get more people involved. gonna be adding some more stuff between now and then, just got a utility pole delivered yesterday, just need to get a hole dug so i can put it up and get some lights up so we can do some night rides too.

With it being a Sunday, I wont be able to stay too late. If I can make it, Ill probably have to be gone by 5ish.

That's cool, i've got the whole day open so whenever you want to show up is fine.

I don't know if my radio will have the range after the antenna accident, but it looks killer.

Yea, if you would like, pm me your address. I have a 1.9 comp and a sportsman right now. The XR10 won't be ready by then.

Looks like me, chuck, craig and jake will be cruising down and dave is already down there. Should make for a good turnout. We are going to aim to be there by 10 so we can get moving since we all have to be at work Monday (dang work).

I will be down there by Sunday morning. I have plans in Chicago for Saturday night but should have no problem getting to Stanford by 10AM.

I would offer a ride down but it would be one-way only.

i don't have any score cards but i have lots of bright orange tennis balls with arrows on them but you can bring yours if you want to.

I would be able to go if it were this weekend. But next I gotta do 12 hr nightshifts that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Only 2hrs from me. Maybe if you have another gtg later this year. Your setup looks really awesome!

Here's some new pics of the course. Ready to crawl this sunday, if it don't rain (it's in the forcast right now:cry:) but if it don't gonna be awesome time. remember if ya wanna bring some brats or something i can fire up the grill just let me know.

we have a "who's bringing what" list over on the scrc forum.

Im torn about the rain, I would hate to miss the event because of it but, you guys REALLY need the rain. I was out at my "farm" 2 weeks ago and the river is completly dry. Places that didnt dry up in '88 are bone dry. We'll just keep an eye on the weather, if it says its going to rain and really looks like it, we will resched for sometime after nats.

I'm looking to try out Sedonas vs. Boss Claws on my XR.

I think I will bring my homemade nacho dip. It was a hit at my office's food day.

Now I have to decide when to return to BN from Chicago, Sat night or Sun morning.

i've been tryin the sedonas on my xr for couple weeks now and am very impressed so for. i also been tryin hpi rock grabbers and panther leopards too and they are just as good too, they are all really good meats to use. but i would like to see how the boss claws work also, on my mini i have some 1.9 flat iron side walls with panther pins in the middle that measure just over 4" that don't do too bad but the rovers are still better.

OK, I'll keep the Boss Claws on the XR and bring the Sedonas.
