Default Northeast Iowa?

Hey, I've been looking high and low for some guys to get together with up here in the Northeast part of the state. I'm about 20 mins from Prairie Du Chein Wisconsin, and an hour or so from the Minnesota/Iowa border.

Anybody around here?

Ya, the closest thing I've managed to find is a s/c track up around waukon. Maybe I'll go scout them for some offroad enthusiasts.

Hey, check out www.iarock.org

Great bunch of guys who crawl and run just about everything. The Shack is a place we get together a lot, Eric runs the Shack and also has a website. http://www.highwaytrucker.com/bart/

He is located just out side Center Point Iowa, and the IaROCK crawling is usually down around Iowa City Iowa. I live in Center Point as well.

Is there any good crawling spots near you? I camp quite a bit at Spook Cave, real close to Prairie Du Chein. I've only been in this sport for about 6 months now but I know there is a quarry or rocks at the entrance to Spook Cave I'm needing to check out.

Anyway, my name is Mike, go check out the websites I listed, your going to find a bunch of guys there to run with.

There are actually quite a few hiking trails around here that would be a lot of fun for scalers and crawlers alike. I just haven't really hit many of them do to the lack of interest in the area from other people. I think I am roughly 20 mins from spook cave.

Thanks for the websites, I'll check them out!

me and my brother get up to guttenberg quite a bit over the summer. We've found a trail/water fall that is AMAZING crawling, try to hit it when ever were up there.
