IaROCK Colasall Fossil Challenge

We are taking dates right now to have our largest event to date this September. It would be great if we could get everyone to attend. Post up some possible dates and we'll get the ball rolling.

Us Minn-e-sno-ta guys have a comp on Sept 19th, but any other dates we might be able to make.
Some of the boys might go either way, our fall series is not as serious as the spring.
I would like to make it down, sounds like fun.

jetboat 08-08-2010 05:15 PM

Let us know ASAP... we were planning to have a comp in central Il first of oct but that has never been set in stone.

Bart bender 08-19-2010 11:44 AM

Sorry we're still working out the details. Turns out it's a busy time of the crawling season. Hopefully we can get everyone involved, but we may have to overlap with some peoples schedules.

Kratos 08-19-2010 08:12 PM

k whatever works. hopefully some of us from nsca will make it. i know im gonna try to

Bart bender 08-24-2010 05:49 AM

OK, How dose October 10th sound to everyone?

DeweyCJ5 08-24-2010 01:50 PM

ummm crawl-a-palooza date

Bart bender 08-25-2010 08:33 AM

I think we are going to have to just put our foot down and say September 25th. It's a SCRC date so sorry guys. September is just so friggin busy. The 25th is a Saturday so that will give the travelers a day to recoup. I hope all can come.

DeweyCJ5 08-25-2010 09:26 AM

sorry i will miss this... but i will be in boone that day

jetboat 08-25-2010 10:57 AM

That's a scale comp... I might just be able to make it out...

Kratos 08-25-2010 08:57 PM

is it scale or 2.2 pro/sportsman?

Bart bender 08-26-2010 05:39 AM

2.2 and if we get enough supers. We don't have a sportsman or scale class yet.

jetboat 08-26-2010 05:43 AM

no sportsman class??? Oh well, guess its less to pack.

Bart bender 08-26-2010 10:29 AM

Is that the 2.2 Super class? Basically.

No!
Sportsman is no dig and some other stuff.:flipoff:

jetboat 08-27-2010 09:17 AM

What's the start time?

Bart bender 08-28-2010 09:24 AM

Noon. We usually start gathering at 11 and then BS and prep our junk. Then maybe lay out a course and start around noon. We are VERY relaxed and just go with the flow.

Bubba73 08-29-2010 06:56 PM

Ill be there with the super UNLESS harvest kicks in.

jetboat 08-30-2010 10:40 AM

Nice... that's my type of timeframe. Coming from a distance, its nice not to have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to go have fun.

Kratos 09-05-2010 09:14 AM

as long as im not working ill make it. how many courses ar ya planning to run for the 2.2 pro?

Bart bender 09-05-2010 03:01 PM

We only have the one class, 2.2. Last time worked really well having 3 courses with 6-8 gates each. We have a lot of area to set up on so the gates are spread apart. If we make good time maybe a 4th course. Like I said we are a VERY relaxed bunch"thumbsup"

Kratos 09-05-2010 04:58 PM

lol yea sorry thats what i mean is 2.2 i would love tgo have like 3 courses and maybe a finals with top 5.

josh97 09-05-2010 05:00 PM

hold on so we can only have 2.2 shafty no dig? or is this gonna be open to the moas also?

WarTrader 09-06-2010 07:43 AM

Well I checked this place yesterday and I was totally blown away. I'm gonna try and switch up my work schedule to make it to this comp.

I'm running a T1E Rockshow/V2 Axled Berg or maybe a XR10 I hope either of these will work for your guys rules...

josh97 09-06-2010 09:06 AM

Im running an ax10 swx chassis alluminum knuckles and c's...I have a dig but wasnt going to install it till ltr..But if we are going to have the 2.2 sportsman class...i think i will put it in ...

Kratos 09-06-2010 01:48 PM

im gonna try to make it if we can use our moas. otherwise i probably wont

Bart bender 09-07-2010 11:58 AM

USRCCA 2.2 rules. We run mostly shafties. There is a couple bergs. We run digs also. If you want a Sportsman class that up to the masses. Run whatcha brung I say. MOA's are OK by me.

Kratos 09-07-2010 08:28 PM

thanks for letting me know. im gonna try really hard to make it.

jetboat 09-08-2010 11:01 AM

If I make it, ill drag my sportsman along so that's at least 1 sportsman... maybe 2 if I can convince a couple guys to come with.

Bart bender 09-08-2010 11:04 AM

Just show em WarTrader's video"thumbsup"
