2013 Goat Hill Team Scale Challenge http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps4e960045.jpg 7500 O'Flaherty rd. Goat Hill Team Challenge the Mid-West's "TOUGHEST" Team KOH style scale R/C event. "the one you DONT want to miss" A FREE EVENT entry will get you - your entry to any of the events !! any one class or even both for the day 1.9 & 2.2 class[/COLOR] with your entry fee you receive; entry to the GHTSC events - GHTSC sticker pack - GHTSC pit towel & Lunch!! + ALL entry's will receive a AWARED !! The classes: 1.9 & 2.2 tires must be Scale in size to class. no motor size or battery limit vehicle must appear scale looking & carry 3 scale Itams, no comp chassis rigs two drivers - two trucks per team. both team trucks/drivers on the course @ the same time, working together & timed as a team - to get through the course as fast as both trucks/drivers can for one lap. winching, truck to truck - bump roll overs, bumping to get over a obstacle & towing will be allowed. Team time will stop when the last team truck crosses over the finish line. if only one Team truck can finish there will be a +15 min penalty for that team. each team will get 2 attempts (per-class) to try for there best single lap timed run. 30 second staggered starts in-between competing team starts. 1.9 class rigs will start first, then 2.2 class rigs - then repeat. each team will be on there own clock. the two teams 1.9/2.2 with the single fastest one lap time wins. rules for the "GH Team Scale Challenge." wanting to keep this part as simple as possible, everyone will be on the racing honor system when running, but we will be watching !! #1. rigs must stay within the boundaries at all times, +1 min out of bounds penalty - per offence. #2. No aggressive driving/grinding allowed, +2 min aggressive driving penalty - per offence. #3. one way on the course at all times, no backwards driving. (IE; driving the Rig pointed the wrong way on the course) #4. Roll Overs: rolling back over by hand is not allowed, must drive/wench or get bumped back over by another rig. +5 min hand roll over penalty - per offence. 6. No changing to a different rigs after your run starts. allowed: changing batteries, repairing rig, changing drivers, these can be done - anytime - anywhere - off course only !! now taking team entry's. NOT taking any $$ for your entry until the day of show !! Re: 2013 Goat Hill Team Scale Challenge just a little info about Goat Hill for you guys from out of town on what kind-a terrain is there !! Goat Hill varies a lot in vertical terrain (its a big bluff Hill side) around 170 vertical feet or so & vary vary rocky, normally real dry/dusty - no water @ all. a real good fast walk speed is about all you can do to, just to get your-self around GH. :twisted: there's only two places you can use any kind-a speed @ all !! the course is around 3000' long & real windy, & yes you will get winded. :mrgreen: the fastest way around is to work as a team, keep moving & off your lids. fast timed runs are from 7 to 9 mins to get around, for teams. plenty of parking & pit areas, not many pit tabels, great shade ! no fixed electricity, but there will be a generator there for power needs. any other ?? thx KCRC |

Re: 2013 Goat Hill Team Scale Challenge ok guys !! with the weather acting weird this year (RAIN) we need to schedule alternative rain date for the goat hill team challenge. there is no way we can run @ goat hill when its been raining a few days before the event. its hard enough just to get around that place when its dry, and way to dangerous to run there in heavy mud & moisture. the alternative rain date for the GHTSC, Saturday June 1st all i can say is to watch this thread for the rain out announcement a few days before may 11th. if it looks like rain for this area. hope this will give everyone time to reschedule, still & be able to attend this event. cool ?? thx KCRC |
