| Kyosho's 2.2 Rock Force Crawler
Read in an RC Car Action magazine that Kyosho was coming out with a new 2.2 crawler. Was able to find some info about it at ClodZone. Check it out: http://clodzone.com/?p=760 Dig inside the rear axle? Comments? |

...check out the posts in the Kyosho section...there are a couple... ...from what i have heard so far there will be an optional 3 channel propo involved which will allow the operation of the rear dig...So far i read into that that that will mean, (WAY too many THATS) that dig will be IN the rear axle but not necessarily able to be used stock...I am guessing that KYOSHO will be doing it as an RTR with their regular 2.ch pistol grip...That SAID, they may just do it as an ARTR chassis / set at first...A few months after initial release Kyosho tends to do what we call a 'Mecha-Less' version...No electronics... Thats all i really have right now...Sorry... |

Well the dig seems perfect. It relocates a servo on the axle that would normally be positioned higher on the chassis. Lowers COG.

...i heard autumn this year which will probabaly mean that it will be 'released / announced' at the Tokyo Show around the end of September and then in stores soon after...Kyosho tends to do releases in time with the Japanese 'bonus' season where we all get 2 or 3 months wages in big hit And they have skipped the summer season, (now) which leads to me think they wil be aiming for the Xmas / winter season so they are pretty much keeping to their usual schedules...At this stage anyway...

...well im IN Japan but im not FROM Japan ;) ...I have more history with Kyosho products than I do with Tamiya and HPI...lots of Mini Z stuff and then Mini Infernos...I am really looking forward to this release, more so than the Berg, and I am looking forward to getting back into supplying the world with Kyosho parts and information My first true love lol... ..I am actually just wondering how the success of the Berg axles will, if at all, affect Kyosho's plans... |

Looks cool.. I wonder if it will be as hard to get parts for as anything else Kyosho makes.. They really should get with a decent distributor.. |
