| Fitting a Traditional 1/8 scale motor in Mad Force
Been hearing a few different takes on this, one side motors like a castle or Tekin 1/8 motor, buggy or truggy size fit, but then I have told by others it doesn't fit. I am looking for the following info to confirm: - 1/8 sized motors like the Tekin Buggy / Truggy motor and Castle fit - When using these motors, what pinion size range can be used from smallest to biggest. Thanks before for any info! |

Almost any motor can fit into any vehicle, just depends on fabrication skill/time/material. If you want pinion size info, we need your gearing/tire size info! Google rc speed chart or rollout chart. It will let you put all your info in and calculate a good combo on what pinion to use |

Thanks for the info. I am mainly looking for fitment stock, no modification. From there, I want to know what pinion range fits. Based on that, i can better determine what motor Kv range works best at the voltage I plan to use. |

I stuffed a kershaw 1/8 can in my twin. It has the cooling fins. I had to grind off the bottom fins so it would fit into the stockpiling holes. I'll check but I think I was using a 15t pinion and a stock kruiser spur. There was not much room for adjustments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Here is the pic I am using as a reference since I have the same motor: by the way what driveshafts are those? |

I am still waiting on my Mad Force Ve to come in. I picked this one up: Kyosho Mad Force ve Roller | eBay I am planning to use the following: - Viper VTX8 ESC - IP 7200mah 2S lipos For motor, looking to use the Truggy 2000kv Tekin motor if it fits. Lastly, looking for a waterproof servo, thinking the new Xpert Series. |

you should be fine with that motor in there. i use the HPI flux motor. its about 2000KV, and mounted to a 1/8 buggy center diff. gearing is a bit tall, but looking to swap some 10t pinions in the axles.
