Yup a friend pointed that out when i first got the motor.Gonna have to go with a different scale. I love the fracture but that would even be smaller since it is for a 1/10 scaler.

jetdog racing 09-24-2011 08:26 PM

yeah it is 1/10 scale but its pretty big thou...you should be able to get measurments from rc4wd i think.

Jeykito 09-24-2011 08:32 PM

will look it up"thumbsup" thanks:mrgreen:

I thought you said this was going to be big? :ror:

TexasRedneck 09-25-2011 07:41 PM

Umm... I cant allow this to go on. So, as soon as you & noob complete this build, you will have to send it to me. Thats the best I can do!

All kidding aside, I cant wait to see what you guys come up with. I can get enough Yotas, and to see one at this size.... I just might have to do one myself. So, you have to document everything!

Bulldog 09-25-2011 10:41 PM

Body looks a little small on there. Noob must have lost his magic!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Jeykito 09-25-2011 11:29 PM

:lmao:LOL all kidding aside though, I don't think the summit tranny will work here. gonna have to figure this out. Gonna make it a roller first.

Is that your new crawler in hte making, hahaha "thumbsup"

scale4x4 09-26-2011 09:34 AM

I'd reccomend an axial trans, with an aluminum case, and get all steel HR gears, and you can get the dual motor mount for even more power

Traxxas Rallvo 10-02-2011 04:29 PM

Loving the build so far. Cant wait to see it finished!

steelbed 10-10-2011 06:18 PM

jon1197 10-10-2011 08:40 PM

that's awesome cant wait to see how this turns out! "thumbsup"

crawlski 10-12-2011 09:57 PM

This build has my attention for sure. Can't wait to see what noob comes up with for a body and what he based his build from body wise. keep us posted"thumbsup"

Jeykito 10-13-2011 05:06 AM

Thanks guys. This is taking longer than I thought. anyways, I should have some updates by next week. Still building the leafsprings and shock mounts.

Ty@Tekin 10-26-2011 04:06 PM

Wicked! What are you going to use to power it?

Jeykito 10-26-2011 05:51 PM

Hey Ty, thanks! we don't know what this thing is gonna run on just yet. Holmes suggested I used a T8 but we are building a new tranny and reduction unit to run on this rig so will see what I can use. Noob had to back out due to prior commitments so I had to improvise and it's going to take 2 more months to finish the body. Look out for the body build on another thread. "thumbsup"

Bulldog 10-26-2011 11:09 PM

With n00b backing out, what is the other body source? I was really looking forward to seeing what he came up with. I'm a little bummed...I'll bet you are too. But, with the rain comes sunshine eventually.

Jeykito 10-26-2011 11:33 PM

I know it's a bummer but I've got it all figured out now. I can't post the yota body that we've got drawn up yet, (i'll leave that to the builder) but it's gonna come from Italy."thumbsup" I think you've seen his 8x8.

TexasRedneck 11-02-2011 05:47 AM

Just curious about the body thread. Has one been created yet, or no? Sucks n00b can't do the body, I enjoy seeing his work.

P.S. When you read this n00b, YOU SUCK! No, I'm just kidding... LoL!

any updates?

Re: 1:5 Yota

Hehe. Actually, it's going very very slowly. The body is quite expensive and I'm running out of funds but it's still going. The body might take another 2 months to finish. Thanks for the interest.

Re: 1:5 Yota

I have just started a 1/5 jeep tj project and can vouch for the fact that this is a whole different money sucker than 1/10th scale as everything has to to be made one off!

Good luck and I hope this comes out like you want it too. Nicer than awesome!
