Are you planning this to be a Crawler in the style of the SoCo guys? Or more of a C3 or TTC rig? I have 2 of these and was thinking of making one an all out TTC truck, but not sure yet.

I'm building it as an endurance rig for now...maybe C3/TTC. I'm going to enter it in an upcoming G6 Challenge event..but i originally intended for it to be a trail rig. not sire if this answers your ?, but I'm not exactly sure yet. haha:ror:

I know the feeling, I have finished building a rig before and still wasn't sure of what I was going to do with it.

you should do a TTC rig...its pretty much that same as a 2.2 scaler. the size of the body really requires 40 series tires for it to be a true TTC.

Thanks Guys!! I plan on finishing it soon...not too sure what ill end up using for my primary transmission thought, so far my 2 options are a Planetary or a gear reduction unit type. I'm going to have to experiment with both to see which works best. Updates coming soon!

i wish, but for now it has to stay in my TF2...im sure it'll have one once they are available for purchase...that trans would fit perfectly.

The Robot MarketPlace & Team Nightmare - BattleBots & Combat Robotics Information start looking around in the 'geared DC motor' section, there's plenty of good solutions for power train ideas. I've abandoned the drill motor/trans idea and went with one of the offerings from these guys.
