dont really have a plan so to speak right now.....lol for parts, i have a wraith, that is going to donor its axles, the bec, mip's, the goat 3s with balistic 18.5, 2.2 axial 8 hole wheels, 2.2 iroks.....but also have a set of 40 series wagon wheels with 40 series baja claws....so we will see which way i go with it.... id like to keep it as low as i can while still havin good flex....just like my 1:1 yj....... |

only bad thing about the 40 series is how wide they are...

Those are the tires I used on my build. I cheated and had MattZilla build my chassis and roll cage. I also went with dual shocks as it gets heavy pretty quickly.

well, got to the end of another productive day in the shop...... finalized the link lengths, and am happy with the way its sitting..... had to extend the mip shafts, rather then use punisher shafts at $50 a pop....damn theyre expensive... made mounts for the transfer case and the dual motor setup tranny in the front.....just need to make a driveshaft to connect the tranny to the t-case fabbed up a pretty sweet aluminum bumper on the front, and am kinda happy with how it turned out..... will get the rear bumper and swing out tire carrier fabbed this week, then onto the cage assembly........ on to the pics..... |
