Default dually ideas

I saw a f-350 dually scale build and fell in love with the idea for a truck puller or mud bogger and I also drive one, but mine is an 2001 f-350 4 door long bed. My problem is I can't seem to find a 1:24 scale model of one. The only models I have found is a extended cab 97 and a 4 door long bed (http://www.randysdiecast.com/newracing/winwallace.htm) link for four doors but they are metal bodies anyone know where i could get one? Thanks for the help!!

I think you will need a larger model than 1:24. I'm going to use a 1:18 scale body for my Land Rover and stretch the wheelbase to fit. If you use 1:24 scale, the wheels/tires will be way too big. Compare wheel sizes between your Losi and a 1:24 and see what you think.

I have a 1/24 Chevy Dually plastic model. Here are some pics. I have too thought about using this. Can't see it very good in the pics but the wheels stick out about an 1/8" from each side. The WB on the dually is around 6 1/4".

I tried a Chevy dually on my micro, and it was just too big. I even tried chopping it down, but it still was bulky.

check out your LHS and see if they could order you the scale size you would want in an ERTL model kit Just a thought, b'cause i have a 1/14? (I think) scale viper plastic model that would fit perfect!

6.5 inch wheel base is huge for a micro this will be quite a stretch.
will you make a new frame to mount the transmission etc to or mount it to the existing floorpan.?
