| free memory foam insert??
ok...everyone knows the tempurpedic bed commercials. they say if you call in you can get a free sample of the material......well, i did lol. i got it today! it's a yellow 4x3x1 block at that...so should EASILY make 4 memory foams for a McRC. it might be a LITTLE stiff....but i'll have to cut it up into inserts before i can really make a call on it. my McRC is a v-day gift....so it'll be a while before i can lol. |

haha, i thought about it many many months ago...for 2.2, but figured it'd come too small...and it did. then out comes the micro crawler...and i'm fairly certain i can get 4 out of one block |

| Just realize if the temp changes much the stiffness of the foam will as well those beds are the best ever its like sleeping on a cloud lol but on colder nights its MUCH more stiff and on warm nights its much softer still free though :p Last edited by spoo76; 01-26-2010 at 07:48 PM. |

I got one of those samples a long time ago, good luck cutting it straight. Tip, before you cut it, put it in the freezer and it will harden up.

for my situation, my crawler will ONLY be indoors and in my office..............things just too small to really ever crawl outside, so the stiffness is kinda moot, for me. but as for the freezer trick, if i can't get it to cut...i'll try that! i've got some REALLY good scissors though, that should do the job....they cut leather very easily... |
