I got bored the other day so I modded an old PC power supply to run my Turnigy charger... I even found a use for the crappy "charger" that come with the micro The banana plug outlets were 5 bucks from radio shack. The rest was free! It has 2 12v, a 5v and a 3v outlet. The front plate is cut and bent out of the old PC case. The charger is mounted with Velcro. |

I did the same thing with my old power supply a while back and it currently powers my HobbyKing Ecosix, which is the same as the Turnigy. works great once you make sure all the sensing wires are connected. all it took was 20 mins or so,heatshrink and the only cost was the ceramic resistors which were around $1 or so. for anyone looking to do the same I think there is still a how to in the electronics forum. I think next I am going to wire up a series balance adapter and charging lead so i can balance charge 2 similar lipos in half the time. I have a pair of 2S 2200mah Lipos that will charge as a 4S 2200mah and a pair of 3S 1300mah that will charge as a 6s |
