Default Sandbox Crawler

This is the crawler Micro Crawler Ive been working on while in Iraq

Chassis mods:

Most of the rig is stock except for the BWD wheel weights and Mini-T Links. Im also running a MicroT LiPo to gain extra wheel speed and runtimes. The Servo Saver is removed and servo wires are routed out through the rear of the case. I removed the On/Off switch and soldered in a jumper instead. uncased the ESC, sat it in some shrink wrap and dummy wired it to the chassis. battery sits on the servo with velcro. Chassis plates are bent inward to inboard the shocks, "buggy style". The front lower links are stretched and so is Front Drive Shaft. the rear Lower links are stock length but bent at 25*. I appreciate your input.

Thanks a lot guys! Really my first forum experience, kinda expected to be told it was a bad idea. But, nonetheless, it works great as you can see it propped up poser style on that 40mm grenade. i did forget to mention a couple things: i did do a "tranny" flip, and then hard wired the motor right on to the ESC, this makes it a pain in the ass to remove the motor but it makes that connection "fail-proof", second is that to acheive that particular shock geometry, you are going to need to open up the cut-out in the center of the chassis. this will allow you to make the appropriate compound bends. other than that, all of the rest is fairly easy to do.

Sick work my friend. That's a very unique setup

I'm glad to see you received the wheel weights so quickly. Sometimes shipping to an APO takes quite a while

Your Micro Wedge is en route along with a lil somethin extra. You ought to hit some of the extra weights with some desert tan like the shell

Glad to see you joined up and as always, we are all behind you and your team.
