I'm hoping to see the new tires they are making. i hope they are some micro mud slingers or some micro gauntlets. some micro BFG Krawler T/As would be nice as well.

They don't weight as much as the HR wheels and they are very difficult to assymble. I still haven't got one together yet. I believe dogbreath is havin alittle trouble with assybly as well.

These are a bear to assemble, am very dissapointed especially for the price!
Finally gave up on the little aluminum bead lock ring and tossed it....made it easier to add a ring of pencil lead and lead shot to the inside.
step #1 glue in the outside half of the wheel to the outer tire bead, turn over and place ring of lead and back half of wheel with two screws, pull rear bead out and fill the lead shot, gather the rear tire bead towards the center and add C/A to rear wheel lip, release the tire to pop into place...nicely glued and proper foam-less weighted tire/wheel at 45g front and 35g rears

but hated to do it, really wanted to keep the bead lock feature..... I won't buy another set until they fix that problem....perhaps the Micro RC4WD tire will be better....

...on a related subject though...the scaler guys who are buying the resin tires will love these, they work great for those tires with no internal ring...

What was involved to get the axle nut on? I really don't wanna lose the beadlock feature either and may return these and wait for the alum. ones from BWD.

I had to use alloy wheel nuts and am not real happy with how they fit....only a few threads and it took a special thin wall driver to get them that far

this is the email that i sent to RC4WD about there wheels. maybe at the very least they will look into making a design change or give us a few ideas to help make assyembly easier

ok so i received my set of wheels for the losi micro crawler today. i have to say they look nice but very dissapointed in them. i have yet to get the beadlock featcher to mount up at all. i was able to mount a set of urathane tires up without the beadlock ring but then i just cant mount these on the crawler. the screws for the hub wont allow me to install the nut on the axle stub. i have tried several different nuts but none will thread on. i have been to a few of the forums and talked to a few people all having the same issue. only one person so far has got a set mounted but he had to glue the tires on but to me that defeats the point of the beadlock. could i be doing something wrong or were these made for the tires your developing? but then that leave the nut on the axle how do i go about securing these to the crawler. i've been very happy and satisfied with your products in the past and was very excited to see these untill i started to try to asymble them. after about 3 hours of trial and many errors i just gave up. please help.

i try to be polite as can be so let see where that will get us.

Tried to find 2mm barrel nuts at my LHS in another attempt to make these wheels work... No luck so I picked up a set of HR beadlocks. Anyone know if there's a purple beadlock ring out there for these??
