Default lipo problem

iam not sure if anyone has noticed this but when i put a lipo battery on my micro crawler the lights beside the bind button are green and red but when i use a nimh battery. i only have a green light ive checked the manuel and nothing in that saying what it could be the lipo is a losi one

Mine has the same lights, but it does not give me a problem driving. Do u have a problem driving it?

The red light DOES NOT mean stop lol. It merely is showing that the esc is recognizing the lipo and is now in lipo mode.

thanks guy`s that makes thing easier. i had a funny feeling the esc might have went boom after awhile if i kept using it

It is the KA-BOOMS you have to worry aboutCheck the temps by touch, or if you are lucky enough to own a temp-gun, at various times during your crawling so you see what makes it hot....or not. My wife and I are always messing with the crawlers. She like to drive fast and furious. One day after one of her assaults on the course, I asked her to stop for a moment so I could check her crawler......I cautiously checked the motor/ esc for temp...I told her it was very hot and to grab another crawler and let this one cool off. She said "If I touched her like I just touched her crawler, she would be hot too!" Wow...that's why she bought me a temp-gun...so I could save the good stuff for............... I did get the green light!

i have noticed the board cover gets hot but i let it cool down before i do anything else with it. but the battery never gets hot which is good
