| Biggus' Losi Pinch Micro
Picked up one of Svens "Pinch" chassis for the Losi micro crawler, it arrived this morning and am very impressed with the quality, 2 chassis sides and crossbraces It screwed together very simply and I like the idea of having adjustability for upper link location, upper shock location and shock mount height, very nicely designed. The esc/rx needs to be removed from its case and heatshrunk before being mounted above the transmission and between cross braces, the battery mounts on rear axle. One problem I found was I had to raid my micro spares for some small screws to bolt braces to the chassis sides, was fine for me but for others that dont have these tiny screws it could be an issue. Any how its together and feels very good, the suspension is much more supple and with a quick test proves it works much better than stock. Just waiting on RCtoys to have stock of Dogbreath's Beetle shell, unless someone knows of somewhere else I can get one. |

Before I fitted this chassis I did have Micro T shock bodies and shafts with springs but returned to stock for this set up.

I like the looks of that chassis. I been seeing people talk about it but haven't seen where they are getting them. I would really like to look in to getting one.

Search for pinch chassis and you can send sven a pm. I drove his this summer and was very impressed. I got one about a week ago but haven't had a chance to put it together yet.

Quick question for the OP- Any weight in the wheels for those pics? (How much?) I've heard nothing but great reviews of this chassis! |

Follows on from Nerwals question really I have just fitted some of Billet Works wheel weights I have gone with what they recommend on website, full one on outside of front and large hole on inside and on rear just a small hole weight on outside (wheel weight pack 1). Just waiting on the Beetle shell now. |
