Default Help with RC4WD Beadlocks

Guys, got my new headlocks, but can't seem to fit them up to my stock truck very well. Seems the basic problem is the black plastic hexes don't completely fill the machined hexes in the wheels. Also the nuts that came with the wheels have a machined circular portion on them, I think that is supposed to fit throughout the wheel, but if I do that the wheel will move in and out even when the nut is tight, again because the black hex is to "skinny" Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Joe
