| Hot Racing Beadlock Mod
Let me say up front I am very pleased with the quality of these wheels. Nice weight also. while attempting to mount my Miniqlo,s on them I just wanted to chunk them across the room. After measuring the mill out in the wheel and the bead of the tire I determined it was just a little to big. Also noticed a large bead of rubber left over from the mold on 2 out of 4 tires of different packages. Turned the tire inside out and began to cut it in a tapered pattern. Then using a rotary tool I beveled the edges of the wheel on both sides of the bead seat. Now simply run down the beadlock screws and ring after they have all been started in a cross pattern and it will seat the tire for you. I posted this simply due to it being an issue not discussed in any of the info I've found on here. Thought it may help some one save a tires ,wheels or marriages.

I gave up the marriage thing myself but I've witnessed the rage I felt at one point holding that wheel to begin many stupid events. Divorce being the first one that came to mind because I didn't want it anywhere around me. Last edited by cej255; 08-20-2011 at 11:47 PM. |

Good job, a few have complained about the Qlos on the HR but I havent seen anyone with a "fix" . those big tires would love the weight of the HR wheels
