Here we go again :roll: I started on this styrene mess to house the widened sumo axles that ended up under a chevy...I got side tracked & the buggy was left for dead on a shelf....madjones was over a few days ago & we got to talking about southern style buggies....So thanks to Mike I started back to work on the left for dead chassis....

Well I think the pass. side got warped from sitting on the shelf for 8 months, I spent a few hours trying to fix it but gave up on it :roll:

For heat I use a Weller 140 to 100 watt gun, flux is water based & solder is 60/40 rosin core .032 dia.

Change of plans with the power plant went with a ezrun 18t can on the gearhead...All I can say is this combo was mind blowing on the bench testing with 3s....Plans are to drop in a quark 22a esc & run 4s, I can't wait for the first run!

It is a sumo trans converted with some 1/8 rod & losi 12t pinion that was always the weak spot on my others:

That motor is a monster & on the 9.7:1 gear reduction with 4s it just might rip it apart ;-)

I did get the driveshafts done & the skid reworked its a tight fit with that big motor & GR unit but it should work out....I hope to do a test run soon & yes it will be on video "thumbsup" just incase it explodes :lmao:
