| shocks or no shocks?
Just wondering pros and cons to running shocks and no shocks

I dont have a trekker but i have 2 crawlers and i'm pretty sure that the shocks also kinda work as links holding the axle from drooping down to far, without them the axle is not confined to the location so its really sloppy

| Re: shocks or no shocks? Thats true, I never even though of droop, just trying to figure out where to put my battery and ESC since I upgraded to a bigger lipo lol

Some folks go for shocks without springs. Or cut springs. You can also wrap the ends of the springs around the screw heads on the ball ends. I added a set of springs to pull my trekker down and use full stock uncut springs. | |

If you space the shocks inwards you can get a good amount of extra travel. I don't like running springless. I feel without springs the trucks are too tippy.
