Yes and No Buy the Losi Connectors and cut the old ones off of the new batteries. Then strip and twist the 2 wires you will be using. Next use some needle nose pliers to crimp the losi connectors to the 2 power wires and insert the pins into the connector housing. When you do the crimps, make sure to get a little bit of the wire insulation in the crimp so it anchors the wire and they don't break on you. "Make Sure You Get + and - right the FIRST TIME" If you know someone with a soldering iron that is the best way to go but a simple crimp job is fine too. As for mixing battery types, I believe that is a no no. I just put the Losi 300mAh LiPo in my Trekker battery box. Fits like a glove and I get 45 minutes to an hour with lots of full throttle. Seems like one of those 450's would be plenty. I saw a video on YouTube where someone put saddle packs mounted one per side on the chassis and the Trekker kept falling over big time. If it were me, I would Dip or Shrink-Tube the naked receiver and put it in the battery box and mount one of those 450's above the tranny. 3 batteries and you won't have a crawler anymore, it will be a model tank. If its a 2s lipo, the three wire is for battery balancing, so you only use that for charging along with the two wire. You'll need lipo charger, and depending on the balancing connector, you may need too get an adapter. Hope that makes sense...

You could also run smaller batteries in parallel, but I haven't tried that personally yet, I'm pretty happy with carrying a few of the 180mah-350mah 2s lipos around. I figure switching batteries is a good time to let motor and esc cool down a bit in between changes. Post some pics when you get a chance! | |

Just so I am clear are you guys using 2s lipos? The little bit extra power I know will make speed but don’t want to nuke anything. I just dug ones of these out that had been sitting for years.
