Rear steering Has anyone tryed it yet? |
As soon as I find all the parts. |
I ordered my knuckles and links from my LHS, should have them Thursday. I'll let you all know when I get them. |
sweet, yeah post up some pics when you get it all together |
got mine runnin i really appriciate the fact losi used a 3 channel rx as expected the turning radius was cut in half and the fun factor of the lil guy was doubled"thumbsup" forgot my camera at home but i'll post post pics when i get a chance |
If you posted links to the needed parts I'd love you forever. |
BTW, I ordered all the parts. Did you use a servo Y cable or run a separate channel? Both would work, right? |
yeah the y harness would work your going need one w/ a reversing unit though, that is unless your willing to open up the servo and switch the motor leads and pot leads"thumbsup" dont have the part numbers though, i was luky enough to have an lhs that stocked all the parts that i needed |
Has anyone investigated the radio to see if it can control a 3rd channel? I like the idea of the 3 channel receiver but it would be even better if the radio could control it seperately. |

Rear steer / 4WS = good times! I just got around to swapping out my rear knuckles and such to allow 4WS today too and it makes crawling my landscape boulders a whole lot more exciting! I have some decent size rocks but the way a lot of them are laid out I had to use an awful lot of reverse to move from line to line. Now with the rear helping out it's a heck of a lot more fun and I can go places it could'nt squeeze itself into position for before. I know that it's likely going to be banned for comps, but since I don't have the time to travel to any this is just fine with me! Best mod I've done yet for fun factor! Now I just need my 2.2 trail rig to sell so I can get a nice 3 channel 2.4 radio so I can ditch the reversing Y harness :) |
