| Fake Beadlocks??
Im Assuming that the set of wheels that come with the MRC aren't real beadlocks. I took the outer rings off to mount up some blue losi claws and the stock claws were glued on. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything before i go buy new wheels.

| Do a search for the PVC mod, you can make the stock MRC wheels into functional beadlocks.

I dont know about there being any difference in track width. I do know this, with flat irons tires on (them being both taller and wider than stock) the tires rub the lower links along with anything else you thought would have cleared with your old tires... damn these things are huge, and awsome But the wheels... yeah, I think there pretty close, or even the same. |

If the Axials make the MRC narrower it's only by hairs. I measured it with a tape and I couldn't tell a difference. The Axial beadlocks are awesome. I don't think you can find a bigger bang for your buck. You will love them! Just be sure to buy stick on weights to make them heavier. If you need more width get wide hexes (Losi or Hot Racing) or Junfac axle wideners. The Flat Irons are huge and do rub, but the ground clearance they give you is awesome. Pinch your body tighter than normal with the body clips and limit your travel some and you won't have too much of a problem with the tires rubbing. |

yeah i was over at my hobby shop and was weighing the price between all of those wheels and then i saw a set of DNA 1.9 wheels and just went with those. It was only 35 more than i was going to spend on the axials so i just went that way. Man i can justify anything. |
