Default Mrc?

Whats up guys, just got my mrc about a month ago and love it, had it for about 2 weeks and then put some mud slingers on it. Ive got a stupid question but since im new and still trying to learn i figured i would atleast ask. Ive had these 2 bodys for a while now, comp cut both of them, one more than the other. I know i need to stretch the wb about a 1" or 1 1/2" to make it look right. And possibly put some wheel spacers on it to make the width look a lil better. My question is, how hard would it be to stretch the wb? Could i just get a new chassis and use it? I know i would probably have to get a new driveshaft also. Any in put would be great. Here are a couple pics of the bodys ive cut.

here is a pic before the cut

here is a pic of them cut

and just a different angle

let me know what you guys think...

If you are going to use the stock chassis, you just have to extend the links, which may mean 4 linking it, or extend the upper with some sort of bushing, of course the drive shafts would need extending also

If you are going for a scale build, a chassis like the L-Trail may be the way to go, using stock components you can extend the WB from stock to 10". I believe one or two others make a direct fit scale chassis also.
