Default full size servo question

ok so with the stock controller there is no epa settings so how will i be safe with running a 160 oz full size servo? Adjusting dual rate?

The Stock TX has the Steering throw adjustment on it. the knob behind the steering wheel.

Oh did not catch the last bit of that. my bad, ya that is all you should have to do. i havnt had a single problem. you just want to be careful that it does not get bumped. mine did during transport, luckily it did it to the left so did not over throw anything. I now make sure to take a look everytime that i crawl.

Here is my steering Setup:

HiTech 645MG (Aluminum Servo Arm, RCBros Aluminum Servo Clamps)
Losi Aluminum Front Carrier Set
Losi Aluminum Front Spindle Set (Drilled and Tapped for 3mm For Strength)
Homemade links (4/40 rod w/ traxxas rod ends, wrapped with aluminum tubing)

Right now I'm running a Hitec 645MG on a custom made 4 link/servo mount with an aluminum horn. I made the steering links using the stock rod ends and aluminum rod. It works pretty good so far.

Your steering link setup looks great. I'm going to have to try that once I go to a fullsize servo.

What about a templete for that rod you have over the alxe for steering?

I don't really have a template for that. I just used some threaded rod (very cheap to buy) to use for mock up until I got it where I wanted it. After I was happy with it, I then bent up some aluminun rod to match. The rod ends are from the stock steering linkage. I just cut them off to equal lengths and drilled them out to accept the threaded rod.
