Another BEC question. I was out of the hobby for a few years and spent my time with 1/10 cars/trucks and never used a BEC. Since I have the mongoose, and 645 I'm wondering if I need a BEC. A few questions:

- What is a BEC?
- How do you know when you need one?
- What happens if you dont use one?
- Is there a way to avoid having to use one?

This is the first time I've seen a Vendetta ST body on a crawler! To be honest, I looked at this thread a couple of times and never noticed it was an ST body until now. It looks pretty good.

How's the Slingshot treating you? I've never had one, but according to the things I've read on this site they're hit and miss. Either you love them or hate them.

Keep the st body, it looks cool. Are you using buggy or st shocks? What oil are you using in them?
