| Fxr vs mamba micro pro
Ok so recently my mamba has quit working and im looking at a different Esc. I know a lot of people are very happy with their mambas but im leaning toward the fxr due to its smaller size. Are there any pros or cons going to the fxr besides the extra money? Or does the mamba preform better? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I personally see no difference other than size and programing options. For me, I already have the castle link and don't want to buy tekin's hotwire link, So I'm sticking with castle. But if you already have hotwire, size is the only factor.

IMO tekin has been more reliable especially in my own experience. I made the mistake to get a castle mmp and regret it since i had to keep sending it back into castle, and it has not been fixed still. only downside is that you will need hot wire if you get the tekin if you already font have it, and that it self it pretty costly. other than that, you should already be running an external bec. |

I've never ran Tekin ESC's so I don't have much to say about them. I have sold alot, but I sell more Castle ESC's... I've been running Castle ESC's in just about Rig I have had for the last 5yrs. Not one Failure.

I too have been running a Mamba Max in my touring car and NEVER had an issue with it. Even when do stupid things with it. In saying that, I did just get some FXRs for my crawler and I can tell you, they are small. Much smaller than pictures make you think it is. I don't have any experience with the Mamba Micro Pro, but I know that plenty of people love the FXR's drag brake. |
