| Noob question on CVDs
Just curious but how does switching to CVDs improve steering?

They can handle more angle.

They increase steering angle (at full lock) by about 5 to 10 degrees (I think), which makes for a tighter turning circle - very useful when negotiating gates on the rocks. It is possible to grind down the cups of the stock shafts, and taper the opening, then grind and angle onto the dogbone pins, to gain a similar steering angle. Much easier to fit CVDs! |
