Default 1.9 VooDoo's

Had some customers that wanted some 1.9 VooDoo's so I'm finishing up the first set of them... This one is made from VooDoo Gold Dot tires and uses Proline 1.9 Flat Iron shaved sidewalls on it. The tire is 4" tall and 1.5" wide mounted on 19mm wide NCD CF beadlocks. These tires will be getting tested at a comp this weekend and I'll post up how they perform

Lookin good Everett! Just curious, why the Flatiron sidewall? Just for the height?

Yes what other sidewall would I use? Rover sidewalls aren't big enough for a 4" VooDoo... I'll be using them on a set of shorter VooDoo's but not on these... The bead isn't the best on the Flat Iron

That was one of my biggest gripes with the Flatirons when I played around with them. Stock wheels, Axial wheels, couldn't keep them mounted. Never had the chance to try them on a nice set of wheels. They got donated to my neighbor, and I giggle as he screws with them daily.

Those are sweet. I was talking about building some of these just recently. So what foams are you running in them?

I haven't decided yet... The guy that I made these for has a bunch of foams that we're going to try in them... I just stuck some Memory foams that came with the Flat Irons in them for mockup...

The tires hooked up really well even with it being really wet. I ended up putting C.I single stage foams in them, soft in the front mediums rear and also stuffed a stock MRC foams in as inners...

How much will those purdy wheels cost?

After making my first set of enlarged 1.9 rovers,I realized that it is really hard to get a good result!

I also managed to glue my iphone to my finger to the point where i didnt even needed to hold it! Took picture with the phone hence just the casing.
