Axle shaft dimensions for MRC

Hi,

What is mrc thickness of axle shafts?
I need dimension of that part what goes through
Bearings at c-hub and knuckles?

I have mod hr-racing knuckles and c-hubs to my rc4wd 1/18 gelander but i still need some cvd's to it.

Re: Axle shaft dimensions for MRC

All the axle bearings are 4mm I.D.
However the inner axle shafts neck down to 3mm but as for where the axle is in the bearings, 4mm.

Ok thanks!
Then it would be possible to use. Next problem is where i can get mrc cvd's...

Rc4wd's yota 2 axle I.D is a bit over 3mm, so if i try to drill bigger for 4mm axles it would crack.

Bearings is to easy change. So where i can get mrc cvd's :D?

MRC CVD's are going to be hard to find since they don't make them any more. I see them pop up on ebay once in a while but honestly, they are pretty weak. I've broken several from MIP, 3racing and some other cheap brand.

I have modified Losi Comp Crawler CVD's in all my mini axles. They need to be modified to fit. Turn down to 4mm and cut the two flats to engage the locker as well as turn down part of the stub shafts to fit the inner 4mm bearing at the knuckle.

Do you mean driveshaft LOSA3196?
And do you know does this work with hotracing MRC1908 and MRC2108?

Bearings must be 4x8?

Just do the XR mod to your MRC axles and run XR Universals. You need XR/Wraith C-Hubs, Knuckles, Universals, and the appropriate bearings. You have to be willing and able to trim the XR universals to fit the MRC axle and locker. It's not hard with a grinder or dremel and a nice flat file.
