| New motor for the mini guys
Was looking through some of Holmes Hobbies motors yesterday and ran across this...A 380 sized Revolver. This should be awesome in a Mini crawler if its anything like the bigger ones. I have ordered one to see how it is. Just need to get an esc and servo for my truck now lol https://holmeshobbies.com/motors/bru...ensorless.html |

I just bought a mini, I built years ago and was ran on 2 courses during the life of the owners span.. Looking forward to rolling it across the rocks, listening to the Revolver! Quote:

I was already thinking about building another mini so this just kinda kicked me into doing it lol. I had to share it here as I know some people have been looking for motors and there aren't alot of options out there.

My interest in the minis just got rekindled a few days ago so I'm working on my son's Slickrock. Wheel wideners should be delivered today and then I need to install the Team Brood motor I bought for it months ago. May need to consider building another mini for myself soon! Nice to know HH has a good brushless for it.

I hope this works out well as I’ve tried two different brushless set ups on mine over the 8 plus years I’ve owned it and the drag brake never seems to match that of a brushed motor.

| Re: New motor for the mini guys I know it wont be as powerful as the 540 size revolvers, but those have an amazing drag brake, so hopefully it will be good.

Outrunners have more poles than the inrunners.

I'm working on it! Need to cut, solder, repin, some wires, once I figured out where it's all getting mounted. |

Definitely don't want to try fitting the Micro X in a comp chassis. Just thinking about it reminds me of the Mongoose days. Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk | |

I got mine today.... I was concerned about the fact that this motor wires are all black. My castle micro sidewinder leads are white red and black...not sure which wire goes to witch lead.....the motor I am using now is brushed and I only use the red and black ones....not sure how to connect these wires to ESC |

Center wire to center wire. The outer wires can be swapped.
