got 1 qualifier only because well, rx8's like to get rid of the posts.

started in the e main and got the bump to the d main with a broken truck. didnt have enough time to fix it.

oh yeah, did 2 backflips in the main.

I even thought of a trick way to solder the wires to the board... but not enough solder.... or not hot enough. esc wasn't hot. just an old gen 1 posts coming loose.

I don't get paid for racing. I just take "vacations" go to PNB next year. plan it out. and if you two go ill bring my rey to and we all can launch our Baja reys 60ft and wall ride. seriously. its worth the trip at least once.

I have not been lurking around these parts, but I am getting back into some stuff after being somewhat gone for a bit.

I know this is really intended to be a scale rig. I bought one to take the solid rear axle and see what can be done with it to compete with my V2 SCTE at the track. I want to see what it will take to make a RC truck follow the conventional realistic designs of the full 1:1 desert race trucks. So far this is what I know. The rear end on mine donkey kicks like crazy. I bought some associated 1/8th shocks today and intend to really drop fluid weight, and soften the rear end some to see if I can get it to jump smoother. I also noticed the rear end will kick around on my big time in corners. Blue groove track and bad track tires will cause that, but I am going to work on the diffs a bit to see if I can dial that back a bit. Lastly and this is the most important. I purchased most of the front end parts for a Rock Rey to see if I can add some tunablity to the front of this rig. I will report back.

Any one have a extra front bumper and mount. I'm trying to finish the rock Rey to baja conversion and that's the one part I'm lacking

I've been hyped to do this for months! Finally got the build out to the track to cab-cam a race. It's built as a scale rig so handling was iffy, took me a few laps to get the track down. With a little more practice it could keep up well I think. I pulled close to a 39s which is a good time for sct here.

It's also fun to honk at marshals in a crash

hey that's cool! pretty comical with the horn. that truck should do well with better tires on that loose track.

No holes for all the screws? In his pictures, it shows there is?

Are you supposed to apply it then punch out all the holes with each bolt? And cut out for the motor plate too?

Im not a fan of stickers on my 1.1 drag cars or my rc's. But on the bottom of the truck and help from beating the crap out my skid is fair game
