|  DUMB QUESTION cause I'm rtard
I have a few battery packs that are discharged maybe too much. If you bump charge say a traxxas 3cell 5000mah. What would you set the charger at?

I balance charge at 11.1v 5.0 amp for my 3s traxxas lipo.

Yes rob, I was talking about lipo. But ignore what I said, I set my charger to 6cell at the lowest charge level. Checked on the pack a few minutes later and holy poo! The pack was almost too hot to touch and all puffed up. So the battery and charger are sleeping in a snowbank tonite. F*CK |

The puff will eventually go away but it will take a while. Just curious why you would charge a 3 cell on a 6 cell setting or was it just a mistake? Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk |

I exceeded the discharge rating on one of my 3 cells in my quad this summer after a 800 ft vertical climb on a 90° day and my battery puffed so much i almost couldn't get it out. It literally took 3 months on a storage charge for it to return to original proportions. Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk |

Whenever I've had to bump up lipos to get to minimum charge levels I only have it on for 30 second intervals. The way the charger sends power to charge different chemistry packs differs greatly.
