| hey there fellas!
Hey there fellas, I'm really more of a lurker than a poster, so I thought I'd introduce myself... My name is Chris, and I'm an addict...First it was nitro and rediculous speed, and over time it has evolved into a crawling habit About 2 years ago, I built my NN clod, and at the time I didn't know of any other crawlers in MI. Over this last christmas I bought and built an AX-10, which kinda rekindled my addiction, and I went out and bought some Raptor axles for the NN and a RC4WD Rock Rider kit. What with movin and all over the last month, I really haven't had a chance to do much building, but the time is here. Just started installing the Raptors on the NN tonight but ran out of time. Hopefully will be able to get the Rock Rider kit together in the next month or so, then I'm hoping to get another AX-10. As soon as I can, I'll post up some pics. Look forward to meeting y'all, chris |

hey chris! i'm kind of in the same boat - i built a clod crawler a few years ago and had no idea there were any other crawlers in michigan. sold that one, and built the stealth-based super i have now. it's good to see all you guys out there and that we now have a club! looking forward to meeting everyone, and getting some crawl time in. -scott |

Just moved to Novi, in the Ten Mile/Haggerty/Grand River area. I know of a couple rock patches in A2, but got nowhere to go on this side of town... Just got my Raptors on the clod, now I need some 17mm adapters/wideners to run the wheel/tire combo I have (Axial bl/Moabs). Tires won't clear the links enough to turn with the old adapters. :-( | |

There's a couple good spots at two different parks in Ann Arbor. The on shore bridge pilings at both Bandemer park (Whitmore Lake Rd. & Barton Dr.) and at Gallup Park (Fuller Rd. across from Huron H.S.) I believe that these spots are more suited to supers, each one is at least 5'-10' wide by 30'-40' long (if memory serves me right), with the smallest rocks being 12"-18". So, the AX-10 is just a little overpowered with a HH Crawlmaster 1000Kv and 3 cell lipo. Snaps driveshaft ears like they're nothing as soon as a wheel binds up (gotta stop playing in the house on the carpet...) Got the super back to roller status, just need to get the lathes back on and waiting for the adapters to turn upon my doorstep. Not a crawler, but I got my B44 wired up with the Mamba installed, talk about a piece of art |

NN clod is back up and running. Integy 65t motors run by an EVX, Axial beadlocks, Moabs, 4ws, 11.1v 2100mah lipo, 1100mah rx pack for servos. AX-10 is running nicely with MM esc, HH crawlmaster, bent lower links, 11.1v 800mah lipo. Rock Rider is still going through shakedown runs, with Novak Goat system, 7.4v 2100mah lipo. Should be truly ready in another week or so (at this point all it really needs is some lock tite on the skidplate mounting screws and to attach the panels), the first scrapes on the chassis really hurt; this one is the most I've spent on a single kit. |
