Had a good time hanging out with some old friends and checking out all the trucks. If I can make it to another event hopefully I can run my truck, I didn't expect it to take almost four hours to get to my class. By that time I had other plans and had to leave. May want to add a time limit or a point limit to streamline things and get everyone through the course in a timely manner. The fact that you guys have such a popular following, it takes a long time to run that many people, and score em and everything else. I hope this is taken as positive input. I'm looking forward to another event. |

We have tried to figure out how to make it faster to get thru all the trucks but we decided a time limit or point out would hurt the event due to new drivers needing help and explanation along the way. And hate for a driver to make a long trip to not have the chance to run the whole course. We are for sure open to options and would not turn away any help in scoring, set up or any area of the event if anyone was interested in helping. We want to have the best events we can and want everyone to have fun so any ideas are considered to help keep it fun. Thanks to all that come out and support our series |

Do you guys run just 1 course per class? I am a big fan of time outs. Without them it makes it rather unfair and will only add more and more time to a comp. Remember it is still in the end a competition, not just a friendly get together to have fun. If you give me a time limit I know I have to move to finish and may take points to do so, if not I might spend way longer getting a gate clean and I'm not a newb - I'll use that advantage. I also understand helping new guys, but I think having a new driver meeting or even just a driver meeting before the event would be better. I've crawled with most of you at some point I know you guys will help along the way. And if it is a valid question that needs explaining, you can always stop the clock and talk it over so the driver/other drivers get to learn. I will say the ECSC I went to they had time limits and stuck to them. They were fairly timed so even a new driver I feel with a even a decent truck should be able to complete the course. They were not as aggressive on time limits as say our 2.2 Comp events are - I've had to run in those to just finish in time before and I don't think scale needs that at all. |

My best guess would be to set up a 10 or 15 minute time limit depending on the course and then score that person. If they finish great.... if not let them continue to run unscored form that point and move on to the next person. The biggest flaw in running it as a "points series" or a "scored competition" without a point out or time out is you can win without even running your truck. All you need to do is start and your gonna have a better score than the guy that was on course for a half hour. |

Hi fellas, still a noob but I'm sure I've met some of you. I've be to Davisburg and Gavin's (I had the scx10 jeep now Chevy pickup), had a blast both times and got to meet some great fellas but still haven't run in a scaler comp. This brings me to my question, will there be a comp for us 1.9" fellas, or even a place us noobs can get some practice in without bothering or holding up the the serious comp fellas. At this point I'm more about having fun, meeting and learning from you more experienced gentlemen and ladys, I'm not concerned about wining and certainly dont want to be in the way. I'm less then forty miles from the Strong Hts location so I'm going to be there either way, even just if its just to meet new people and learn more about scaling. Thanks to everyone making this and other events possible. |

On average it takes 10 minutes or less per truck but because we can only run a couple st a time it is a long process. Are you talking like a 1.9 comp crawler or a scale truck?? |

I definitely plan on being there, just dont want to be the noob in the way. I guess everyone was new once, and you cant learn if you dont try. Yes I have a face book account my daughter did for me but I've never tried to navigate it. I taught myself to get this far I'm sure I will be able to manipulate another computer leap.

The location has been Googled and the gps programed. A good going over the truck planed for one day this week. I'm looking forward to running the new 13t HH CrawlMaster Pro, I probably haven't put 4500mah's through the ROC412 3100 but I can already see the super low speed control of the CM is simply better. If I'm happy with the wheel speed if ever needed there will soon be a basically new 3100kv ROC for sale in the near future. Then again it never hurts to have a second power plant and esc ready for any unforeseen mishaps. See you all on the 18th.
