| Micro wheelin' in the backyard...
Daylight is gettin' short around here. I've been haulin' some rocks into the backyard here and there so I don't have to drive as far for a crawlin' fix. This 4x4 enclosure was put in before I got here, for a small garden or something. Might as well put it to some good use, right? Workin' it Micro style... | Thanks. That's my micro version of my daily driver 95 RRC (just w/o the rust and dents) The low spot in the middle will be the mud pit at some point. I need to line it w/ plastic or something, it won't hold water now it just soaks into the ground. It needs more rock first. Like twice as much as it has now... | I used the model kit chassis and floorpan, with the bottom half of the stock chassis screwed to it as a subframe. I have a pic somewhere that shows it, it's not in this computer though. I'll look for it. The backyard course is about twice as big now, I need some new pics of it as well... |

The new Trail Trekker and a bit of nice weather (that is now gone ) inspired me to haul in some more rocks: Now it's getting filled in. Lots of different lines now. 2 or 3 more buckets of small rocks and a few big ones scattered in should fill it up entirely. I wish I owned this place, I'd haul in a truckload of rocks and set up half of the entire backyard like this for 1:10th scale trucks. And have less grass to mow... |

Very cool course man, I'm jealous. I've still got at least a foot and a half of snow to melt yet .

Most of the rock we have in our landscaping is flat flagstone. it is a nice long path but it needs some height. Our neighbor has some river rock. It would be nothing for 1/10th but it is to slick for the stock tires on the trekker. The drivable lines for the trekker are pretty short. | |
