Default Micro TF2 Hilux

I started this build a little while back when I was playing around with molding/casting these bodies. It took me a while to figure out what direction to go with it and I think the thread title is fitting for how its turning out I hope to have it running this weekend or early next week and get a vid of it in action and give my take on the 110T DDT motor. I also want to see if the leafs are going to alow any flex at all, they are made from ground down mini hacksaw blades so are a bit stiff..

The list so far..

Brass/leafed chassis
110T DDT Big Block
73:1 Planetary trans
Redcat sumo axles and trans converted to T-case
miniquake driveshafts
boggers
LED's

Not sure on what wheels to run on it yet, the stamped steel beadlocks look good to me but i'm missing the "special" wheel nuts for them

Anyways here is what I got so far...

Hey bro you already know I love it

But me thinks you need a photobucket account so we can see the pics & not those damn clickable links

Can't wait to see this thing running with that reduction unit!

A bit of an update for ya

Got the body mounts all made up and put on the chassis, painted a bit on the interior and got the body sprayed. I really did fight off the urge to make this thing look ratty and beat but I figured i'd do a clean one first to show off the cast body.

I just have to get the esc and battery mounted and she'll be ready for the maiden run

I finally got a charger for the camera so I snapped off a few pics. The body is just sitting on the chassis right now so thats why the slight misalignment.

Looks killer bro!

Now you just need to learn how to upload the pics from photobucket & not the clickies
Go to the pic you want & right click the IMG code on the drop down menu of your selected pic....It will copy it & then you just paste it up in your thread

They added a bit of width that I didn't want in this rig.

In that case it might be best to just get rid of them and sell them to me

I asked before today haha. and I agree. i think the reason they stopped was the complaints about how hard they are to assemble

from what i remember nearly everyone that got them complained. it was such a problem they updated to smaller hardware so there would be more room. i still would have liked a set, just wouldn't change tires often
