Default New ESC question

Hi guys,

I purchased this ESC to upgrade mine but it did not come with instructions. Does anyone know what the switch in the ESC does? Here Is a link of it.

Thanks

IIRC the switch is for a brake. What's this going in?

I use one in a Trail Trekker and it does fine with the worm gear axles.

I have a few of those without the switch, but yes that extra switch is to turn the reverse delay on and off.

Sorry for the thread necro, but I'm interested in this ESC for a small build.

Does that switch on the board turn the drag brake on and off, or does it switch the reverse delay? This thread has conflicting information.

I would assume the modes are like this

forward/brake/reverse

forward/neutral/brake, double tap brake for reverse

Just to mention, IDK if they have a "drag brake" like whats seen in 1/10, alot of these micro crawlers have worm drive or gear head motors... so they have a mechanical drag brake already

these are worth a look to, they are not switchable tho
