RGT 1/24 adventurer - Replacement electronics.

Dear, I have a RGT Adventure 1/24 with the receiver R3862-24. In the last 15 days, 2 receivers have been burned without much demand.
That's why I have 2 questions:
1- Why could the receivers burn? He even had fire!
2- What alternative electronics do you suggest? Ideally compatible with the original transmitter.

1.) battery issue?

2.) I’d but a sidewinder micro esc and GT3 transmitter.

Or the axial scx24 Electronics’s. It’s smooth control and comes with 3 channel radio.

Or upgrade to an scx24 and keep the rgt for parts.

Thanks for the answers, I think I'm going to take your suggestion and I'm going to climb to an SCX24, in any case then I'll put SCX24 electronics to the RGT24 ...

Which radio can be paired with the RX-ESC of the SCX24? Is there any compatible? Or with the one offered as an upgrade for HobbyPlus?

If you get an SCX24 you wont touch your RGT much longer.

Im not sure of any other radios that will pair with these 2:1 ESC's. Maybe you can, but Im not aware of any.

Id not invest new electronics in the RGT when for a little more you can get a new SCX24.
