Default SCX24 Jeep (AE-6) ESC. 5V, max amps output ?

I am modding a SCX24 Jeep with DJI FPV for driving around in the house while winter is outside and i got it almost done. Everything fits inside.
Need to tidy up the wiring and stuff but i can post a thread on it if somone is interested when its not such a mess of wires.

The question is that the DJI Air unit gets pretty warm and i would like to install a small microfan on it with servo power connection. I found one that is 5V 0.19A. Should it be ok to attach to the AE-6 ? Or should i make an extra connection from the battery to power a fan directly from there ?

I read the manual but it does not have any specs on the Rx.

My limited knowledge of electronics, thinks it should be fine depending on what else you have plugged in, but whilst I would do it myself, I will not be responsible if your esc fries.

I only got the steering servo plugged in. I agree it should be ok.. Still a bit hesitant. Strange that there are no specs listed anywhere.
I will send an email to the manufacturer and see if they answer.

Still no reply from the support i emailed about the ESC BEC specs. Oh well, the DJI has built in heat protection so i guess its ok without a fan as long its not shutting down. There is so little room anyway so might not fit a fan.

Here is picture of the messy build. I have ordered the lower cg esc and battery tray to make more room. Suspension bottoms out thought lol.
I placed the Rx in the back so i could have the battery up front for better balance.

Will make a driving video this week. Mayby another thread.

This kind of answer is so annoying, surely they know what they sell, surely they selected the specific requirements it needed to cover? And makes finding a replacement as and when, even more difficult..

Reviving an old thread, but I have a similar issue as I want to build some lighting into my SCX24's and want to know the BEC voltage (my multimeter broke...)

Best I could find was this link which states that the BEC voltage is 6V and has a peak current of 3A. So here's hoping I got the right resistors.

I don't know what the max amperage is out of the AE-6, but the voltage is 5v. I just checked it myself with a volt meter the other day while wiring up some LED headlights for the C10. ChilliBreath, the ESC you linked isn't the one that comes in the SCX24.

You're right; I got it wrong.
I got some LEDs and also found a multimeter on sale and indeed it is 5V.
Luckily I had resistors chosen to deal with 6V; my lights might be a wee bit underpowered now but that's no biggie.
