| Scx24 help with electronics
So I’m on the list for a furitek esc but it’s like two weeks from now. Anyone know of a good cheap little esc/receiver I can use to run stock motors I have several of these and had two motors go out on me and one esc go bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Furitek will run the stock motor if you can wait it on getting it, you do have to have the bluetooth board to program it for brushed operation though. I have a Furitek Lizard in my Ambush (same motor as an SCX24) with a Flysky GT3B for a radio, no complaints with any of it.

I just ordered a SCX24 JLU today and have been poking around here to see what mods will work best for me. I have a Sanwa MT-S that I intend to use with it. I am new to crawling, so I don't need a comp level esc, I just want to have a little fun, but at the same time I want something that is reliable and works well. I see that Furitek seems to be the go to ESC for the SCX24, what is the better choice for the average user, the Lizard or Tegu? I'm in no hurry to go brushless, don't see myself using 3s, or going through deep water. Thank you in advance for whatever info you can provide. Last edited by _e_w_; 05-19-2021 at 11:39 PM. |

The Lizard is smaller and easier to fit. The Tegu Mainboard is the same size as the stock receiver/ESC. | |
