Default TTC in Phil's Backyard RC Emporium and Demolition Site

Hey y'all, here we go with the 2017 MNRCRC Season, startin' off with the TTC #1 event in my backyard (and beyond)! I'm stoked to be able to host another event so close to my own toilet! Yessiree Bob, don'cha know it! Old age...yah, sure, you-betcha! If you haven't been to a TTC event at my place, let me warn ya. Rocks. Water. Mud. Logs. Loose dirt hillsides. Trees. Deer. Turkeys. Neighbors. Tonka Trucks. Swamp. I got it all here!

Anyway, it looks like nice, warm weather. Only thing is, they're callin' for a frog-strangler, and the Beyond part mentioned above ain't the driest chunk o' land even in the middle of the summer. You should waterproof yourselves as well as your Tx and rig, and we could be talkin' ankle deep mud without much precipitation at all. And, probably, skeeters.

Park on the street, please don't pinch down or block my neighbor's driveways.

Let's have some fun!

PS...You're gonna like this setup...lot's less walkin' and a pretty cool RC Demolition Enclosure.

PM me or Dna4 or Grunt for directions to the event!

House is gonna be locked. Sorry.

I rigged a winch on my bomber just for this! I've seen some of the logs down there.

Make sure to pack your water wings and nose plugs, cause it's wet too!

Yeah, any pictures would be great. I just got back from vacation and could not make it to this event. Hope everyone who attended had fun.

Sorry I did not make it to this one guys. I went to plug in everything to make sure I was good to go, and Poof.... white smoke everywhere. Apparently my AE-5 was on it's last leg. I unplugged everything, turned around and put it back on the self. Lol

Not up to doing anything with it.

Big thanks to Phil and support crew for putting this on once again! Had a blast today, glad I went thru and conformal coated the ROC in OLE#6, he got one helluva mud bath today! New demo course on the garden area was a fun lil playground w lots of challenging obstacles. Looking forward to next time, thanks again Phil!

Fun day today at Phil's. Wasn't fully sure what to expect since I missed the TTC last fall, showed up with a lite truck that worked in some places but not in others, and had fun all around. Thanks Phil, Dana, Rick, Tony and all others for the set-up of this course. Looking forward to the next TTC.

Thanks as always Phil. These events are a blast. Me and the boy had a great time. You're a great host and it felt good to give parts this time rather than take them.

Course improvements were great. Format (dry events first) was great as always. Thanks for your time and dedication.

Well boys, the results are in!!

It was a great day. The rain held out until the last few people were on the tank trap. Obviously being a TTC your rig has to be waterproof to compete in every event. Some folks who had to leave or didn't want to smoke expensive electronics so there are some good competitors who's scores don't represent the rigs capability.

However, being a TTC, the rigs that can do everything are the ones that reap the rewards.

Congratulations to Rick and Mark for finding the TTC podium for the first time with their rigs

Everyone gets a break this summer to get their rigs through the trail and comp season. The next TTC will be in September. This will be the big one. Cash prizes and Trophy, along with all the bragging rights through winter

It was great to get the Temper out and finally see some real crawlers in person. Thanks for the hospitality. I hope to join you in Taylors Falls this summer.
