| The Risky transforming 6x6
I started with this Then it morphed into this I was attempting something like this Then I started having issues with the scale of the rig, the scale of the guy, trying to build it on anyways. That led to this........ The guy got so bored waiting for the build, he ordered a pizza So I still pressed on and continued to build the interior. Then, I went to this. A taller guy and different paint Then I bought and built this Tamiya ta02 Ford and paint to match, the idea in my head Built a flatbed for the Ford THEN The High-lift doesn't fit. Not all 1:10 scale trucks are the same Skipping some steps and pics, here is the general idea The motor cover (gas tank) The flatbed in trailer form, sorry my brass skills are slowly growing I am trying to figure out how to make axles for the trailer. Then I need to rebuild the camper box and interior, add a water pump.......and yeah. |

Started working on the interior. I started the Basics of the table and benches and the couch. Here is the one bench that has a storage bin for the proline cooler. I had to make notches for the hinges. The frail brass hinges, I will have to add screws into them but that is later on. Then the slide out plate for the living room and dining room with the 3 person couch. The slide out makes all the difference in the world. Then I had to reduce the couch from a 3 man to a 2 man for space for the bathroom and bedroom . You would be surprised how much room 2 inches opens up !! And the idea on the chassis, its slowly getting there. Next day or 2 will be kitchen work 3 man couch on slide out the 2 man couch and on the rig for a better idea slide out....in Slide out.....out |

Started to cover the seat/benches. Used the left over material from a Mercedes convertible top Then I had to practice making the sink. Found it too deep and had to redo it. So on the 3rd attempt, I have this...... I still need to get my water pump. I |

| Re: The Risky transforming 6x6 Thank you very much !! Okay, so I made the dining area/living room pop-out slide. I still need to level the table. Here is the new sink. I finally got it sorted out. The upper cabinets still need work. I was having issues last night trying to make them. The microwave is from the previous kitchens but it seems to fit so it will stay. The fridge is from the last kitchen as well. It is only being used to help me move along. I am going to rebuild the fridge, it will look the same but taller. I am thinking about having it open, but I am not too sure right now. So to get the idea rolling... Slide out....in Slide...out Then it was time to take pics of how it will look on the rig. Slide....in Slide.....out So it was time to make a door at the kitchen to rear section. I had a hard time deciding on a swing door or a slide door. I downloaded some motor home interior pics and I figured I would go with the slide door. I used the slide door design because it will give me a "wall" for the bathroom shower stall, or so the theory goes. Start with the styrene wall, add some strategically placed stoppers, a purpose notched door, and sandwich the door with the other side of the wall. Looking from the rear into the kitchen View from kitchen So much more work to do. Thank you for viewing. |

I have been barely working on this. I built the fridge\freezer box and have the fridge done. Yes I know the hinges are a little big, but I was out of the smaller ones and I am strapped for cash. Hopefully the paint will help hide them. I will work on the freezer box tomorrow. Here are the pics..... In the kitchen Going to attempt to embed a vid or 2 |

Thank you for the embed help and the compliment. Is it as easy as posting the embed link? Or do I need to add the [youtube.] bracket thing? I finished the freezer last night. I had the pics uploaded last night but it was getting late. I have to admit that I love my fridge, I also admit that it is a little big. Its ok though, I didn't set out for a super scale, just a fun build that helps me gain experience with solder and styrene. Here are the pics...... I keep finding myself forgetting to make an oven and stove burner. I always remember when its late and I start to post the updates. I might have to post sticky notes around me to add in the stove and oven. The bathroom and bedroom are next. The bathroom will be split. Toilet/sink on one side and shower on the other. The bedroom will be on a slide-out. I should have made the chassis longer by about 3 inches. Thanks for viewing !!

Looking good! It's as simple as copying the embed link that is provided on the youtube page. Just select the player size you want to embed (I chose 853x480) |

Got the shower done last night. Start with the box Then I had to build the stationary door frame and add the "glass". Add some c.a. glue and smear away to get the frosted affect. Then repeat it all to get the sliding door built Add in the dude Peek-a-boo !!!! In place on the interior Now for the tricky part, the toilet and bathroom sink. Im going to do a really bad job at making the toilet. I may just cheat and buy one from a doll house store. I will try first but I don't feel the outcome will be great. At any rate, the projected idea is to have the toilet where dude-man's chair is. Then the sink just to the right of him. The bedroom floor will have to be extended about 2 inches rearward, then build the slide-out. The slide-out will go out from the rear, not from the side like most. Its either that or build bunk beds and leave it as it is. Any opinions ? Thanks for viewing ! |

| Re: The Risky transforming 6x6 I picked some up yesterday, I just didn't say anything. It was going to be a surprise. For the walls Probably the floors or will use for the table and counter tops. Not sure yet. But my water pump isn't pumping. The light comes on and the pump only jumps the moment you supply power to it and then nothing. If I repeatedly touch the ground on and off, it only moves for about a millisecond and that's at 12 volts and 11.1. With 3 volts, only the power light turns on but no pump. that's poo-poo !!! Ok, since the running water thought is becoming bigger ordeal than previously imagined, I decided to make a small little change. A tv. I bought a mp3 player but trying to convert vids to 160x128 is a nearly impossible task because I cannot find a fully free converter that goes down to that size. So I returned it and bought a mp4 player. Well of course things can never go as easily as planned, so I was stuck using the vid that came on the device.......uggh, Jessica Simpson But, since I wanted to get it done, I pressed on..... The very generic mp4 player and building the housing And here she is, Jessica Simpson I am not too sure if the tv will be in the living room or the bedroom. Heck, I might just put one in each. Here are the pics of the tv in both rooms But wait !!!! I was able to find a converter to change the vids to amv. I am still playing around with the settings and such to get a decent video to play. All I have now are these poor grainy examples. Here are the pics. What you are seeing are pics from a video The vid coming soon in an edit The video of the 6x6, in the 6x6 |

I see. Not a bad idea ! I haven't really done anything to it. I need to get some .60mm styrene to build the body panels, figure out where I want lights, paint, details and try to finish.
