| 6x6 FrankenThing
Don't really know what to call this, the cab was created by dirty, I did a few modifications, added a bed that I picked up and here is the FrankenThing. I built this to use, our club is working on organizing a trials comp, so rather than beat the Mack I will beat the snot out of this truck Custom created cab Fiberglass bed section Extended SCX chassis SCX axles Metal geared SCX trans Stock shocks 1.9 Pit Bull tires on Axial bead locks 55T motor, nice and slow with plenty of power Mamba Max ESC Just a few mods to the bed and it should work Still plenty to do, but it rolls uder its own power. It had its first run today, it needs a few tweaks, but that is part of the fun. Plans are for a covering for the open part of the bed with sponsor decals, room for 2 spare tires, some tubework to protect the cab, full interior. etc..etc..etc.. Nothing pretty, just functional... Of course the Mack had to run also |

The Frankenthing is cool, but the body needs some details. It's pretty smooth, so I don't know what you could do, but it needs something. Gotta love a an extra axle though! |

Thanks I didn't do the initial work on the cab, dirty did using a Tamiya Man TGX cab and some other misc body parts http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/1-9-s...-more-fun.html. I did make the windshield, dash, and wheel arches. I will add some details to it as I get to it, I plan on some tube work, a cover for the bed, spare carrier, and some misc parts, light bar, stacks.. Kind of minimal though, we are building trials trucks, functional items only, no fluff |

Thanks all... It is starting to look like a truck now No updates right now, hopefully I will get more done over the weekend. I need to decide if I want the spare on top of the cab and finish the tubework, then onto the interior. I have a couple ideas on what to do to finish off the bed, but nothing set in stone |

Wow, The cab is really nice looking, cant really recognize the man tgx cab anymore except for the side windows, kinda looks like a modern twist on the old man 6x6 and 8x8 trucks.

Weird or not it ready to abuse. I prefer to call it "different" Just a scratch coat of paint on it now to see if I like the color scheme, the deck will be flat black also |
