Default Cruces/El Paso Peeps

What's up guys? I just wanted to let everyone in this area know that I'm in the process of building a rock course at my place. The City was kind enough to let me take all the rocks I want from the construction project they just finished on Del Rey. Now, all I really need is people that are willing and able to move rock. I have 4 truck loads so far, and it looks like 1 load... So if anyone would like to come lend a hand, please feel free. Heck, I would even let you come crawl it if you want.

Hey Byron, the coarse was brutal. Had a good time, looking forward in crawling the coarse again. So did you get into it with the neighbor kids?

Lets go crawl Little Moab soon, I want to crawl the first section

Yeah man, the course is coming along well. A few more loads of rock and I think we will be set. Then we can really start designing some cool stuff. Maybe I can get away and we can hit up Little Moab this weekend. I will let you know.

The place had crawl lines for days. Just when I had my rig dialed in I snapped another axle and blew up a bearing lol

Lol I told you those tires are to big for the tlt axles. Go with something the same size as the rock claws or go with a lighter weight rig or just don't bind up the truck at all also maxing out your steering can also be bad for your axles.

There breaking is due to the pins in the half shafts slipping and snapping the bell housings. very bad design on these axles. I am done with the tlt axles and will purchase something different.

Hey Brian, good to hear from you. The place is out towards Hatch. Dont know when I will be crawling again, shredded the front end, CVDs, bearing and hub are trashed. Looking to get new axles now.

lol if you want something strong go with some bergs or axials. i would stay away from losi's if you have a heavy trigger finger since if you bind them up they will snap but if you can pick the right lines with losi's you can beat everything else. axials are good after modding and there are lots of parts for them and you would only have to get some of the axles and you could use everything else you have like your chassis and your r2d2. bergs are good if you can put some money into the setup but you know that since you already had a dual motor crawler before.

I am partial to bully axles. I love mine, and it only takes a little time and minimal $$$ to get them built proof. The down side is that there is little vendor support for them.... But again... They are damn near built proof..... So that may have something to do with it.

If your looking to stay shafty . . . I suggest venom creeper axles. . . Awsome axle after a small amount of mod. And they are cheaper than anything out there
