Default want to built a large crawling beast

i have an ax-10 . now i want to built a large cralwer.
not scale just a big beast, with driveshaft .
what is a good trans and axle(s) to start with.
thanks and i've checked other post that were great.
pictures are always good.

are you talking like 1/6 scale size or like super class size. TLT axels with widners would be the way to go but thats my 2 cents. It all depends on the size you want first.

This is the largest rc I know of, it does the trick for me. it is large, great motor, trans and axles, has drive shafts...

whatever the largest and still complete with.
on that subject, is there ever anywhere to complete in california?
i know mt baldy just happened. and i missed it ,wife birthday.

...H3 , it would be fun.

I am on the other coast but I know there must be several great clubs in CA and lots of gtg/comps

"CompLete" or "Compete"??


If you meant "compete", then here are the rules for 2008.

You'll need to review the "Super" section.

If you want it to have a driveshaft, then you'll want to start with TXT or Twin Force axles.

i meant compete.

when i check the calander of events i don't see any comps. in california.

maybe i'm looking in the wrong spot.

i'd like to see at least one comp to know what goes on.

looking a some of the videos on youtube and such, there are some awesome rigs out there.
