A dig is for getting a truck with only 2 wheel steering to turn as sharp or sharper then a truck with 4 wheel steering. Basically you would lock up the rear wheels, then turn the front wheels in the direction you want the truck to turn, then hit the gas and let the front tires try to dig in a turn the truck. this way you pivot off the lock rear tires. Either 2 ESC ( 4 channels needed) or 2 micro switches ( 3 channels needed) will work. I think the micro switches is the easier way to go. Hope this helps |

on that same note, whats the purpose of turning off the front axles ? (I understand the turning of the back ones for steering)

Powering the back and not the front works similarly as guys in Nascar doing burnout spins. Turn your fronts the direction you want the truck to turn, power up the rear and there you go.
