can you paint the bodies inside with a brush, or do they have to be spray painted?

You can but to get a nice effect it will take more than one coat using spray works best.

Brushing works fine if you are going for solid colors in your design, or if painting the whole body same color. You still have to use the right paint tho. Put on a couple light coats and let them dry in between. First coat will be almost see-thru. After you get the pattern and color all over that you want, add a final coat of white paint. It helps the colors "pop" and look better. Multiple light coats is the key, spraying or brushing. |

thanks. I got a scorpion on the way, and i was going to paint the details such as gas cans, winch etc with a brush and spray the rest.
